Pumpkin Mummy Handpies

These hand-pies are a seasonal favourite in the kitchen. Fresh pumpkin puree and a couple of ingredients in your pantry, make this quick and easy spook-tacular treat!

 

WHAT YOU NEED:

1/4 cup Cole's Pumpkin Puree

2 tbsp condensed milk

1 tsp Cole's Pumpkin Spice

2 Puff pastry/Pie Crust

Flour, for dusting

1 egg, for wash

16 raisins

 

WHAT YOU DO:

  1. Roll out the pastry and cut into 6/8 even sized rectangles and place on a lined baking sheet
  2. Spoon pumpkin mixture into the centre of each rectangle and spread within 1/4" of the edges
  3. Brush the edges of each rectan
  4. In a bowl, mix the puree, milk, and spices
  5. Brush each rectangle with the egg wash
  6. With a pizza cutter, slice the 2nd, rolled out, crust into strips of various thickness
  7. Place strands across the pies; to make the mummy wrap
  8. Press the edges with a fork
  9. Place raisins, for eyes
  10. Bake pies at 350 degress for 20 to 25 minutes, turning the baking sheet halfway through
  11. Cool for at least 5 minutes, and enjoy!
