These pancakes are simply divine!!! With the use of maple sugar, it is like having the syrup infused right into that fluffy stack!
INGREDIENTS
- Cole's Maple Pancake Kit
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp vinegar
METHOD
1. Place just less than 1 cup of milk in a container and add the vinegar (this creates ‘buttermilk’)
2 Mix the sugar, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and baking soda (1) with milk mixture
3. Add the vanilla (2) and the maple syrup and butter found in Cole’s Winter Kit
4. Add more milk/water if needed for desired consistency
5. Spoon ¼ cup of mixture into preheated and lightly greased cast iron
6. Flip once edges dry and bubbles form
7. Remove when finished cooking on other side, 3 - 4 minutes, until golden brown on both sides
8. Serve with butter, syrup, whipped cream and/or your favourite toppings
